Custom Squarespace & Custom Wordpress Designer
Let’s make your homepage a home to be proud of
Your website is your 24/7 shop front
It’s your bricks and mortar made from cookies and codes.
As the online market gets more and more crowded, it’s even more important that your website stands out and sells effortlessly for you.
Investing in bespoke web design is like choosing your shop's location in 1995
You can choose between the prime retail space on Carnaby Street with a creative window display that wows...
Or settle for the bargainous but poorly-lit space down the back alleyway. Only catch, your customers don’t pass.
The good news? Custom web design is a darned site cheaper than rent on Carnaby Street (pun intended, ahem).
So proud of my new website
“I finally have a website that actually feels like me! It feels like I’ve moved into a shiny new home and I am so proud of it... I keep inviting everyone to come round!”
“After months of being embarrassed about my site, it now finally reflects my value, which has given me more confidence to go after my ideal clients and grow my business.”
—Delia Monk, Website Copywriter

1
The Checkup
You tell me about your business and website goals and I ask lots of questions. I will recommend a WordPress website or Squarespace website for you once we’ve chatted. I require your copy in advance - or can recommend a copywriter.
2
The Diagnosis
Where the fun really starts! You give me all the web content (my organised online workbook system is super easy to use), and I get planning your website. We catch up to go over my plan.
3
The Surgery
You sit back and relax and I jump into the operating theatre to create your website. After hearing your feedback I make final revisions (with WordPress we have extra checkups along the way).
4
The Aftercare
Call me anytime for help in the next two weeks, plus you have a handy PDF guide with video tutorials to watch in your own time. It’s detailed but not overwhelming (it’s no Argos catalogue!).

Do I need Squarespace or WordPress?
And other FAQs
-
There are two big differences. One is functionality. And the other is maintenance. It is a bit like the difference between renting or buying a house.
Squarespace is like renting.
There is a little less flexibility (you can’t just rip up the carpet in a rented house). But it still looks unique and special and can be customised to a degree. It is very user-friendly, low maintenance, and has great support (like the ease of calling the landlord to fix things).
WordPress is like buying a house. It’s a bigger investment, but there are no templates and everything is 100% customised. Anything is possible. It is ideal if you need special features or a more complicated website. It’s a bigger maintenance job, you have to make sure everything is constantly up to date, which is why we recommend our maintenance package.
-
If you are a solopreneur, technophobe (and don’t have the budget to outsource maintenance), or small business, Squarespace might be the best option for you.
WordPress may be best if you have a bigger business with specific needs that require a custom-designed site. Don’t worry if you’re not sure, the easiest thing is to jump on a call and I can easily advise you.

Good question! Visual branding makes up your business’s image - it’s a bit like your uniform. It’s your logo, colour palette, fonts, graphics, textures, the whole shebang. It should represent you and your values, and also attract your ideal clients.
It is the first thing (and sometimes the last thing) that customers see and remember you by. You do need to know your brand identity before creating a website. If you want to know more check out my branding page.

No, I am not a copywriter but I partner with some incredible website copywriters whom I trust and work with regularly. If you have the budget for professional copy, it will make the world of difference to the project outcome.
-
Yes, absolutely! Normally my clients pay 40% to start, 40% in the middle and 30% at the end, but I am very happy to split this into instalments if it helps.
-
Oooh, excellent. I love your energy! I work on a first come, first served basis. Let’s jump on a call and I can tell you my current availability. To secure our start date you just need to pay the deposit. If you have a very tight deadline then I can add a 40% rush fee to bring extra hands on board to turn it around ASAP.
